HKUDS AgentSpace is an open-source collaborative workspace designed for human and AI agent teams to work together as a single organization.

Currently, AI agents are usually locked inside private developer terminals or buried in one-off chat sessions. This makes them invisible to the rest of a company. There is no standard way to manage, share, schedule, or audit these AI tools like real employees, which makes it hard for human teams to collaborate with AI agents safely and efficiently under clear workplace rules.

HKUDS AgentSpace provides a structured workspace that treats AI agents as "digital employees." It allows teams to recruit and assign specialized agents with defined roles, owners, permissions, and schedules. The system features a core tool called AgentRouter, which automatically directs a single agent to run across different coding and task systems (such as Claude Code, Codex, or nanobot) based on what needs to be done, all while keeping the agent's memory, skills, and permissions fully intact.
