Openpatent is an opensource patent suite, built to work with locally running models. It enables running models via LM Studio or vLLM on the local machine and making all patent related agentic operations totally local.

OpenPatent lets inventors, patent attorneys, and small firms search prior art, draft full applications with claims and specifications, respond to office actions, perform freedom-to-operate and validity analyses, and manage portfolios—all without subscriptions, cloud dependencies, or data leaving the user’s computer.
